Countdown to the Algebra I EOC 2017 - PDF Blackline Master

The Countdown to the Algebra I EOC 2017 is the most rigorous math test your students will encounter this school year, testing them on 33 different Supporting standards and 16 different Readiness standards.

Countdown to the Algebra I EOC 2017 contains 10 full-length practice assessments!
Each Countdown can be printed on just five sheets of paper when printed front-to-back!

Implementation Steps

10 weeks preceding the EOC test

  • Work one or two pages a day as homework or in class as a daily warm-up.

  • Check each page with your students, modeling and discussing effective problem-solving strategies.

  • Track progress by using the provide Quick Track form (students fill this out themselves in seconds).

In just 15 to 30 minutes a day, five days a week, your students complete the equivalent of a full-length Algebra I EOC. That's powerful, especially if you opt to use all 10 of the provided practice assessments. Your students don't work an entire Countdown in one sitting, though. That's completely unnecessary and discouraged.

We invite you to download and print then‚ first test for free. Try it with your students. We're confident you'll see the power and potential of this warm-up series in just a few days!

The Countdown to the Algebra I EOC includes:

  • 10 complete Algebra I EOC tests
  • Each test fits on just five pages (when printed front-to-back)
  • Superb graphics; clean layout

Questions and Answers

Q: What is included in the purchase of the Countdown to the Algebra I EOC?

A: You receive one blackline master printed on high-quality 24-lb bright white paper which includes:
  • 10 Original Series
  • 1 Quick Tracks
  • 1 Standards-At-a-Glance

  • Q: What do we get when we purchase a product from MathWarm-Ups.com?

A: You will receive one PDF master with copying rights per product for your grade. Our copyright license does not expire, so you can use our products year after year with no additional licensing cost. All products are in PDF format with the school name on each page.

Q: The flyer I received in the mail said pricing is based on up to 1000 students or greater that 1000 students. What does this mean if I have 500 Algebra I students?

A: Your campus would have to pay the greater than 1000 students (i.e. greater than 250 Algebra students) price of $1190. The 1000 students counts is not based on Algebra students but the whole campus student count. We confirm with your district on campus student totals.

Q: Why use MathWarm-Ups when I can use the TEA released tests?

A: Unfortunately, the TEA released tests are obsolete!
They don't reflect the changes to the TEKS, the new item balance, the new emphasis on Readiness Standards and the increased number of griddable items.

Q: Is Countdown to the Algebra I EOC practice or assessment?

A: It's both. Your students practice the standards each day (three to eight different standards). You assess their degree of mastery at the end of each week.

    Q: What is Quick Track?

A: This is a simple tracking sheet, included with your order, that students fill out after checking a page of Countdown with their teacher. With one quick glance, you'll know which standards a student has or hasn't mastered. Quick Track gives you, your teachers and resource professionals the data to make curriculum decisions.
