Countdown to the Algebra I EOC™ (shipping February 7)
|
The Countdown to the Algebra I EOC gives
your students valuable practice and gives you a
powerful assessment tool.
The released practice tests provided by the TEA were
golden! Why? They allowed your students to practice
exit-level problems, and they afforded teachers and
administrators the most authentic assessment of their
students’ proficiency that was possible.
Unfortunately, the TEA released tests are obsolete!
-They don't reflect the new item balance
-They don't reflect the new emphasis on
Readiness Standards
-They don't reflect the increased number of
griddable items
Countdown to the Algebra I EOC fills the void with 10
full-length practice assessments! And each Countdown
can be printed on just 5 sheets of paper!
Your students don't work an entire Countdown in one
sitting, though. That's completely unnecessary and
discouraged. Instead, they simply work 1 or 2 pages a day
as a quick math warm-up or homework assignment
during the 10 weeks preceding the EOC test.
In just 15 to 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, your
students complete the equivalent of a full-length Algebra I
EOC That's powerful, especially if you opt to use all 10 of
the provided practice assessments.
We invite you to download and print the first test for free
by clicking the link to the right.
ORDER ITEMS BASED ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN YOUR SCHOOL. We confirm this with your district. If you order based on a lesser number, your order will not be processed.

Q: Is Countdown to the Algebra I EOC practice or assessment?
A: It’s both. Your students practice the standards each day (4 to 8 different standards). You assess their degree of mastery
at the end of each week.
Q: What does my school receive with its order?
A: Depending on the size of your school (total number of students regardless of their grade level), you receive two or more
blackline masters that your school is licensed to reproduce for use by its students. These blackline masters include all 10
tests printed on high-quality 24 pound paper.

Q: What is Quick Track?
A: This is a simple tracking sheet, included with your order, that students fill out after checking a page of Countdown with
their teacher. With one quick glance, you’ll know which standards a student has or hasn’t mastered. Quick Track gives you,
your teachers, and resource professionals the data to make curriculum decisions.
1 - 1,500 total students at your school
|
1,501 - 3,000 total students at your school
|
3,001 or more total students at your school
|
PLEASE NOTE: Algebra pricing policy is based on the total number of students at your school, NOT just algebra students. We use the school total from the TEA to estimate the freshman/algebra students already. DO NOT order based only on algebra students or your order will not be processed. We check the school size at the TEA site below.
